A Day Out with Thomas rail journey can be enjoyed at the and Kinneil Railway in Falkirk, Scotland which is some 20 miles west of Edinburgh. This heritage railway proudly serves as the home for the Scottish Railway Preservation Society who operates the Scottish Rail Tours and the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway. The Bo'ness and Knneil Railway attract over 70,000 visitors annually and proudly run by its gracious volunteers, certainly a major tourist attraction in Scotland.
One of the special events hosted here is Days Out with Thomas Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway. Families can enjoy engines with friendly faces, along with children's entertainment such as face painting, and competitions. There are magic shows, fairground rides, Punch & Judy and our favorite storytelling.
