Come and join Thomas the Tank Engine for a Day Out with Thomas at the Elsecar Heritage Railway. This lovely railway is situated in the beautiful village of Elsecar known for its pleasant park with accompanying countryside. The Elsecar Railway was established in the early 1990’s and is now operated completely by the generosity and hard work of its volunteers who do everything from maintaining the railway, its engines and to managing the gift shop and driving the engines too!

 

 

As a host to the annual Thomas event, the Elsecar Heritage Railway provides a lovely day for the entire family to entire. This event typically draws thousands of people. Children get to meet the Fat Controller, that’s right Sir Topham Hatt who keeps a watch eye on the engines making sure they are very useful. There are lots to do for the children to be entertained with numerous attractions, refreshments and giveaways.  Avoid disappointment and order your tickets!
