Southern California Railway Museum train excursions
The Southern California Railway Museum is located in Perris, California and was founded in 1956 as a railroad museum and they also operate a heritage railroad on the museum grounds. They boost the largest collection of Pacific Electric Railway rolling stock in the world which is derived from scrap yards from decommissioned passenger operations. Also known as the Orange Empire Railway.
At the Southern California Railway Museum visitors can enjoy rides on historic trolleys and trains which shaped Southern California today. The museum is open nearly every weekend including most major holidays. On of the significant events offered at OERM is the Day Out with Thomas event and other steam locomotive events. Admission and parking for the museum is free except for selected special events, so check their calendar.
