The
Indiana Railway Museum was founded in 1961 in the town of Westport, Indiana. After some time this railway moved and relocated to Greensburg, Indiana and subsequently moved again to its present location French Lick. The French Lick Scenic Railway is operated by the Indiana Railway Museum currently.
Passenger trains span over twenty-five miles of track from French Lick to Jasper. This railway has an impressive roaster of over 65 pieces of rolling stock and locomotives, 9 full-time staff, 350 members, and 60 volunteers.
